It’s BBQ season and I am so excited!
Not that I need a season or a reason to BBQ because we smoke and grill throughout the whole year at my house.
My Korean BBQ Ribs with Sweet & Sour BBQ Sauce is the reason for the season!
First, look at these ribs!
I coated them in a dry rub, then I marinated them in a Spicy Korean Hot Sauce.
The hot sauce marinade is the key to these delicious ribs.
If you have time try to marinate the ribs overnight.
Do you see this smoke ring people?!
This is what cha’ looking for when you smoke meat.
Unfortunately, you can’t achieve this level of smoke ring goodness with baked ribs, it’s just not possible.
I smoked these babies for 4 hours at 275 degrees and while they smoked I made my tasty Sweet & Sour BBQ Sauce.
The sauce is sweet Asian chili sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, sriracha, and spices.
This sauce makes enough for two slabs of ribs and I must warn you its drinkable!
It’s time to start up your grills and get ready to lick yo’ fingers because these ribs are da bomb!
I highly suggest you double the rib recipe because one slab is NOT enough!
